The public required removing from the population genes that caused low intelligence, immoral. and criminal or anit-social behavior."Beginning with Connecticut in 1896, states passed laws requiring medical exams before issuing marriage licenses to make sure the unfit did not reproduce." Mother were being violated due to the fact that they didnt want them to have kids etc....

  2. I think that you should have added a little more on Buck v. Bell because I am still a little confused on what it really is. I remember talking about it in class and stuff but I still do not have a clear understanding. Something I can added on to your is that Buck v. Bell set a legal event that stated sterilize inmates of public institution. The court had argued that "imbecility, epilepsy, and feeblemindedness are hereditary" and that they should have prevented from passing this to the next generation.
