bakke vs regents of university of California

schools view 

the university of California that bakke was trying to get in was a very good school. it has great classes and great opportunity's for the students attending it. However, the school was very strict with its admissions presses, and only 84% of the students being accepted was white. 16% was saved for the minority's if their grades could get them accepted. 

The admissions were very high standers for the general admissions program for students to ensure that they graduate and not drop out. 

The admissions for the 16% (minority's)  were way more simple and had less standers for the minority's so that they would be accepted even tho they could not reach the other white students grade scores. this was to ensure the admission of other students who were of other color it would be better for the schools reputation of they accepted white & black students.
