This topic is mostly about Teen suicide and no one should ever have suicidal thoughts. This documentary is about a young couple, and the girlfriend Michelle Karter encourages her boyfriend to commit suicide through texts, and then he was later found dead by his vehicle. Long story short, justice was not really achieved for Conrad because they reduced her time for Jail when at first she was supposed to face a maximum amount of 20 years behind bars but she got 2 ½ years instead. She was also emotionally encouraging Conrad to commit suicide through texting. There was also another time when they had a phone call before Conrad died, but she didn’t do anything physically to try to stop him, and also another one is when Michelle texted her “friend saying that she felt about the whole situation and that she could have actually stopped him from killing himself but instead she let him die without doing anything to help him.

I feel that it was wrong what Michelle did telling her boyfriend to end his life. Conrad should have never listened to her and just lived his life even though he was depressed.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion both of them were in the wrong but Michelle Carter is to blame for him killing himself and she did not get the correct punishment. Michelle Carter coerced him into killing himself by continuously telling him to kill himself or suggesting the different way he can kill himself. I do believe that both of them were both mentally unstable but that should not be an excuse to have for encouraging someone to kill themselves over and over again. I also believe hat both of them should have gotten help even if Conrad was suicidal either one of them should have gotten the help they needed or at least told the parents so that they would be more aware of whats going on in his life.
