Police radio

Image result for police radioIn every country police are allowed access to different radios; either portable, mounted on a car or at the station, these radios are made for the police to receive or respond easily within different areas located. Depending on the frequency present this can affect police work, codes for police allow for better understanding if frecencies aren't received. Alert tones can be made by either the police officer or dispatcher. In the communication center, there holds a range of 11 to more people to work on receiving calls or making background checks. Alert tones can go off for quite some time until either side responds knowing that the is an emergency. Depending on the police radio, it can hold for up to 20 channels. Either employee can hang out in different channels depending on the role that they are in charge of. Once the alert tone is overheard through all channels, everyone is to respond if they aren't in the middle of anything important. If the alert tone is not set, it is the job of the dispatcher to let others know.Image result for communication center of a police station

  1. This is interesting about how radios work. Maybe next time you could add more about how radios play a part in the courts. Are they allowed to be recorded and able to be used in court? Also I looked up that police are still using radios because they are cheap, efficient, and the radios are already being allowed to the access so no extra security is needed.
