"Self-Dense Murderer"

In 2017, Bampumim Teixeira was accused of murdering two Boston doctors in their home. He told police that he was having an affair with one of the victims and he responded that he acted in self-defense in killing the other victim according to an interview that was played for Jurors on December 5, 2019.

The victims loved ones, 38-year-old Dr. Lina Bolanos and her significant other Dr. Richard Field, 49 The man was having an affair with Bolans and was with her Fiancé at the time, Field when he unexpectedly came home. Teixeria told them both that he was going to kill them, though he was shot by the police when he was arrested at the scene on May 5, 2017.

No evidence has been introduced that suggests that Teixiera had a relationship with either of the victims. Dr. Richard Atkinson, the medical examiner, testified that Bolanos and Field had bruising around their writs which could have been handcuffed by Teixeria. He also informed the jurors that both victims died from being stabbed. Dr. Atkinson stated, " There were 24 total sharp force injuries on all sides of her neck."

In Teixeira's interview, he insisted that it was Field who killed Bolanos and claimed that the murder was out of self defense. However, the jurors were shown video footage of Teixeria lurking outside the doctor's building on the day of the murder and got into the building through the garage.


I think that not only is this scary this is super weird. Though the trial is still taking place, my predictions are that he will be charged with at least First Degree murder because there's evidence of him lurking outside their building, which means that he had been planning to murder them both later that day. I'm still questioning how Teixeira met Dr. Bolano, other than he could've been her patient because it is not normal to have an intimate relationship with your doctor.
