The Zebra Murders 

The zebra murders were a string of racially motivated murders and attacks. These attacks were committed by a group of black Muslim serial killers in San Francisco California. These murders and attacks occurred  October 1973 to April 1974. They killed at least 15 people and injured 8 others. All of the victims were white. 

First Wave of Murders 

On October 19, 1973 Richard Hague and his wife Quita were walking near their home when They were kidnapped by a group of black men who forced them into a van. Quita was nearly decapitated  when a third guy came and cut her neck with a machete. They attack her husband Richard with a machete and left him to die, but he survived. 

10 days following this murder Frances Rose was murdered. She was repeatedly shot by a man who blocked the path of her car.
