On the last day of school, we held a fake senior night for lacrosse and our coach gave everyone yoyo-s to have over the quarantine. What was kind of a joke at first became a thing I actually spent my time doing. I spent my first few days learning some easy yoyo tricks which became a decent pass time.
The second skill I am trying to learn is how to skateboard and do really simple tricks. I traded a can of salsa for my friend's skateboard and have been riding it around. I am very bad and can do anything cool. I like this skill because it allows me to get outside and it is something I can do by myself.
The last thing I have done is find Mari Kondo. I used her methods to reorganize all my stuff this took up a ton of time but I am glad I did it.
In conclusion, I think there are a lot of productive things we can use this free time to do that does not involve going into public. I hope to add more things to this list and find more skills to acquire.
What non-electronic things have you been doing?
These are great ideas! You should post some videos of your yo-yo tricks (if it's possible). I rearranged my entire room which took a good two full days. I also have gotten back into art and painting more and painted my mirror. I'm also using this time to make care of myself and do meditation while also doing activities with my youth group. I've also been trying a ton of simple recipes so when I'm in college I won't starve to death. I've also been working out everyday and trying to go outside for walks and just explore parks. One thing I should be working on more is the senior project but it is a bit hard to have a drive to do school work when the days all mush together. What app are you using to get more flexible?
