Hospitals
Due to the hospitals being filled with Corona Virus patients special precautions have had to be put in place to ensure the staffs safety. Although Covid-19 is the most present illness at the time, that does not mean the treatment of other problems stops. In one case a man went into a hospital to get his appendix removed. When the doctors later found out he tested positive for Covid-19, everyone associated with him was sent home for two weeks. This only cripples the medical force and proves why Covid-19 can be so dangerous. It is hard to see a way that staff can interact with regular patients knowing that they could have the virus.

This makes it extremely difficult for doctors today because not only are hospitals extremely packed with a deadly virus that doesn’t have a cure yet, but the more health professionals exposed to coronavirus means less doctors can work and this puts an insane amount of stress on the remaining doctors who are being forced to work everyday for unhealthy amounts of time.
ReplyDeleteThis is also really problematic because some people don't experience symptoms at all. If someone is working in the hospital or visiting someone in the hospital who is potentially carrying the virus without symptoms it could spread really easily in a place where a lot of patience are in a much more vulnerable state. Additionally, it only furthers the problems with doctors and medical staff falling ill and being unable to treat others who have caught the virus.
