Is the Tiger King Joe Exotic going to be pardoned by Donald Trump?

Joseph Maldonado passage known as Joe Exotic in the  Documentary series Tiger king was recently convicted of attempted murder and murdering 5 tigers. His sentence is 22 years in jail but he thinks he was wrongly convicted and Don trump made jokes about pardoning him. During an interview about Coronavirus Donald Trump, a reporter asked him if he would pardon him and if he knew what his son was doing and his response was ""Which son? Must be Don," Trump said. "I had a feeling it was Don. Is that what he said? I don't know. I know nothing about it. He has 22 years for what? What did he do?". He later then finishes the interview of going to go look into Joe Exotic and if he will pardon him. I believe that someone like Joe Exotic should not be pardoned and to serve the sentence he gets for. He should at least serve some time for what he did but maybe not all of it but at least the years for attempted murder.
