So what happened with Lizzie Andrew Borden, what happened to her?
ReplyDeleteAlthough Borden was the main suspect, for the murder that happened in the following days, Jose Correa deMello was instead convicted of the crime of murdering Manchester. The case itself was pretty messy. All of the witnesses gave strange and conflicting testimonies, and the police investigators gave different reports of the crime scene and murder weapons found. Lizzy Borden was acquitted, but still ostracized by the Fall River society.
