OJ 2019

WHERE IS OJ NOW?

After all of the trials for his wife's murder, time in jail, and parole,  OJ is still struggling to live a "normal" life.

12 years after the murder of OJ's wife he served 9 years in a jail in 2008 for a robbery that occurred at the Palace Station Hotel room. He was convicted of taking memorabilia that he claims was stolen from him.

Shortly after OJ was put on parole, he celebrated by going to a hotel with some of his friends. When Simpson was having dinner at a clique bar and a steakhouse, a security guard approached his party and asked him to leave. Simpson was banned from the Cosmopolitan Hotel but was never given a reason why.

Later on, a new article that came out from TMZ which reported that OJ was " drunk and became disruptive. TMZ cited employees from the Cosmopolitan Hotel. Because OJ was on parole an officer showed up to his house to conduct a drug test in order to see if OJ violated his parole. Officers had an investigation and found that OJ did not violate his terms of his parole and proved that the TMZ story was not accurate.

OJ is now suing the Cosmopolitan  Hotel for defamation.

  1. You have to wonder if it is hard for OJ to act like a "normal" person, he might just be a ticking time bomb who from even the slightest trigger could break the law or become violent once again. I hope that OJ just stays out of trouble, but I can see why the Cosmopolitan Hotel might not be very happy to see him in their restaurant.

  2. I don't think that OJ has ever really had a "normal" life. He was so obsessed with fame and being liked that it got to his head to the point where he never lived like a "normal" person. He was always in the spotlight, at USC, in commercials, etc., and he liked it, so I think having to lay back and relax was hard for him to adjust to since he was always doing something in front of his fans. He was trying to change up his lifestyle after his ex-wife's trial, but he was not able to due to the fact that it had been a while since he lived life being a "normal" adult.
