Later in 2015 Hernandez was again under fire for the belief that he killed Odin Lloyd a semi-professional football players who was dating the sister of his fiancée. He was then said to have ditched the guns in a nearby lake. when the lake was searched the firearms were found. Just 5 days after being given life in jail Hernandez hung himself and decided to take his own life. He attempted to barricade the cell doors. He had done this twice before but no precautions were made. The families of the victims quickly filed for a wrongful death hoping to get some of Hernandez belongings. There was no report on how much was rewarded but it was said that only money was given and no personal belongings. The family who sued believed that there was enough evidence in the trial to seek monetary damages because of their lost of their loved ones.

This is an interesting topic to bring up and talk about. It seems like the guilt was too strong for him to handle and he didn't know how else to try and calm himself down with that. This seems to be a clear cut case in the fact that he did kill those people, whether he intended to or not we may never know, but it does seem like he did kill them.
