Differences between Bullying and Cyberbullying

Bullying is a real life matter and young children have to go through all that and this mostly occurs at school. It's tough for them because you have to come to school and have to go through that everyday.  The fact that people are harming each other at school and just draining the other person mentally and bringing them down as a person sets a bad example for future kids because they see school as bad place and not a safe place for them to be because of the bullying that happens during school hours. Cyberbullying on the other hand is more safe because people can't really cause harm to you because they're behind a screen. People can text you mean things but you can always ignore it, shut off your device or block the person. There's only one bad thing about cyberbullying which is spreading rumors or anything and whenever it comes to online, it can spread pretty fast and a lot of people will end up knowing it.

  1. I feel like bullying is a very hard topic to talk about and we need to be more aware of it because their is some kids that cant handle this type of pain and they end up committing suicide. This topic needs to be talked to more at schools because I dont think anything will change if we are not putting boundaries on these kids that are bullying and harming other kids for no reason. I personally thing that kids only bully others because they think its funny, cool, or they themselves have problems at home so they take out their anger on other kids.

  2. I disagree; I personally think cyberbullying is worse than bullying at school. When kids are bullied at school, they get to escape it when they go home, but they can’t do that with cyberbullying. It follows you home. In addition, people online think they’re anonymous and are often emboldened by this to say horrible things they wouldn’t say in real life to someone’s face. Lastly, it is true that you can just turn your device off. You can do that with regular bullying, too, by just walking away, but that doesn’t change the fact that someone just said or did something mean to you.
