Sleep paralysis
Sleep paralysis is when mind is conscious while your body is unable to move, you're basically waking up but falling asleep at the same time. During sleep paralysis you can experience many things like hear, feel things, some may even hallucinate or see things that are not there which comes from fear. Sleep paralysis is not that dangerous because it doesn't happen very often but when it does, it can cause you to have anxiety, overthink things, it could also lead to fear. Sleep paralysis only happens when your brain is fully awake but your other body won't be able to move when "REM" occurs which is rapid eye movement, this happens because your are coming out of "REM" sleep, when that happens your brain paralyzes your whole body and you're unable to move but only your brain is the only thing that's fully awake. To avoid sleep paralysis, you should always get a good amount of sleep and make sure you try different sleep positions and not sleep on your back so much.
