Social Isolation aka School Cancelation Day 1

I've been writing a short story (not on Coronavirus) and grading papers. I've been doing as much as I can to connect with family and friends virtually - I've never face-timed so much in my life! But I definitely miss everyone. Having been out sick last week makes me feel like I've been on social isolation for longer than most. :-(
Lucy and I have been taking walks when we can in between the rain. Meditating, Yoga. Binge watching Outlander. Reading. Trying not to stress eat!

Isolation hasn't been too bad so far, but I don't know if I can survive 3 weeks or longer. I have been relieving stress by doing a puzzle, watching Netflix, or facetiming my friends. I go back and forth between using this time to work out (which I have been so far) or binge eating in bed. I know it's only been a couple days, but it hasn't been too bad because I can finally catch up on my sleep and other work. Hope to see you soon!!
ReplyDeleteNever in my life I imaged 2020 and the last new month of school just sitting at home doing nothing but work. I feel like the only think that has really been stressing me out is the Senior Project due to the fact that I need help on it for some people it might be easy but for half of the class might not. Some of my classmates and I have been struggling to understand why we still have to do the senior project if we are not getting the help some of us need. Or sometimes this comes to some of mine and my classmates minds why are we still doing all this hard work if we might not even have graduation if this virus doesn't get controlled... just something to thing about... This whole isolation has affected me emotionally and physical because I am unable to hang out with friends and I hate being home.
