Its so sad how all this happened so fast and no one even saw it coming. I used to play soccer and track the fact that all this happened while track was going on sucks because even though I did not join the team this year sucks knowing the part that everyone that was on the team can no longer have the track meets. But I feel for every sport especially if they are seniors because they will no longer be able to play with their teammates. This has changed so many people in different ways and we are all trying to get through it but it is something very difficult. People just need to start listening so that this virus can get controlled this is why the virus got bigger and now it is everywhere because no one stayed home like they were supposed to.
ReplyDeleteThis whole thing is crazy with the sudden effects it has had on society. I was hoping I was at least going to have sports to watch during the lockdown but now thats gone too.
ReplyDeleteIt is unfortunate how the coronavirus has had such a major impact on our society including sports. Many students and young athletes grow up working to eventually have the opportunity to be recruited for college, as an athletic scholarship may be their ticket to receiving an education. These athletes are currently stripped from this opportunity during their prime years to be recognized by a school. In addition, those that have already been accepted to the schools of their choice are unable to visit campuses to decide which school is the best fit for them, meaning that they are forced to decide where they will be for the next four years of their life without certainty it is where they belong.
