The worldwide pandemic has caused many people their lives and has caused the economy to drop. When the pandemic started, Trump did not pay much mind to it. He did not take it seriously and thought that it would be something temporary. Then the pandemic started to get worse, and still not much was done. It wasn't until the stocks and the economy started to drop that Trump started to pay attention. Of course, many businesses, including his, started to suffer. More jobs and lives were lost. He came up with the CARES act and it did help many families, as well as businesses. But if something was done earlier, the situation would have not become so critical.
