Walmart

Image result for walmartWalmart has portrayed themselves as one of the most dominant retail stores that has ever come about. What seems like a perfect business with cheap prices on quality items, is actually a business run on inhumane ideals. Instead of working hard to be successful, Walmart did many things that put their own workers in danger. Outside of the country workers were barely paid. It wasn't until Walmart got exposed by the media that it seemed like something was going to change. But instead of doing what was right, Walmart tried to do a cover up. Walmart quickly got exposed for many other things including the working conditions, protection of their workers, and stores filled with crime. After becoming this huge power company Walmart looked to be taking a fall, this only got worse when a flood of lawsuits in 2005 came upon them. Eventually Walmart won enough cases without losing too much money. Now Walmart tries to show that their working conditions are much better. But after all of their coverups it is hard to believe they have completely changed.

  1. I feel like this is a common practice now. Maybe the only thing that makes Walmart different is the crimes that go on within the store. Most clothing store promote fast fashion. Which basically forces people to work in sweat shops. The makeup industry is also part of these inhumane practices. They force young children in India to mine out Mica and most of them are 4-10 years old.

  2. Times are different now it seems like for Walmart. People are able to share out about in-just issues that happen under the control of inhumane acts.I still however seems to continue in some states from the appearance of the workers that seem to show a lack of health concerns to be covered
