Anyways, I've been trying to get some work done without stressing myself out! Stress and isolation (in my opinion) DON'T MIX! I've been taking it step by step! Luckily, I've been blessed to be in a household filled with funny, loving and annoying siblings. They help me stay sane (sometimes)! We've been keeping ourselves distracted by playing classic games like Jenga, Mancala and LOTERÍA!! But, for me (individually) it's been Instagram-->Twitter-->Snapchat-->Netflix--> Repeat.
But unfortunately it hasn't been all that great. Even though most times have been alright, my mom is still obligated to work, which means she's risking her health. Sadly, she has no choice. My dad is on his last two days of break before going back to work, which sucks, but it is what it is. Overall, I'm managing. Let me know what you guys have been up to in the comments!
I really hope you guys are taking this "Shelter in Place" into consideration! Make sure you guys stay clean, healthy and sane! This will (hopefully) pass!

I have been in my house ever since the stupid virus started it has real messed up my whole schedule, I am not the type of person that likes to stay home i''m always out doing things. I thought 2020 was going to be our year but I guess not the virus had to come along and mess up our whole year kind of. I saw online that schools will be reopening the schools on May 1st. I know that in Los Angeles were I used to live my friend told me that if the coronavirus gets better then they will be opening up the schools again. As well this morning my step dad also told me the same that he read on the newspaper that schools might be opening May 1st. I am hoping that schools do reopen so we can experience our senior year. I have been trying to work on my senior project but it is harder than I thought because I want to get youtube interviews but I am unsure how to save them on my computer so I can put it on my video. I am also having trouble finding the perfect Powtoon that will go with my video this is the only assignment that has been stressing me out because I do not want to do it wrong and get a bad grade on it, since Mr. Stewart did say you cant graduate without a senior project.
ReplyDeleteI have gotten into yoyo-ing. The lacrosse coach gave everyone on the team a yoyo after our fake senior night the last day of school. Has been a good pass time. I think its good to find non electronic stuff to do.
ReplyDeleteAs much as this "stay in place" situation sucks. The benefits of staying at home decrease the likelihood of Los Altos and Mountain View deaths. I find lots of people to be careless and still hangout with their friends. As much as I would LOVE to do that as well, we need to think bigger picture wise and how not listening to orders by the governor could really affect our community for the worst.
ReplyDeleteMy family and I have been doing a great job of making sure to shelter in place. I've found sitting outside in my backyard and doing homework during the week relaxes and kinda de-stress me instead of sitting inside.
ReplyDeleteI agree that people should be staying inside with the virus happening but people don't seem to care. I think people who are hanging out with friends should think about it like this what happens if you get it from being outside hanging out with friends and you bring it home to your family and get them sick then what do you do to help because your the one who got them sick. personally I wouldn't want to go outside and hangout because I don't want to be the responsible one of getting my family sick because you never know how it will affect them

ReplyDeletemy family has tried their best to stay home and just leave to get groceries, but theres still people who don't follow the whole shelter in place order . they just go out. the whole point of the lock down is to slow down and possibly stop the spreading of the virus so we can all go back to our regular lives soon as possible and it sucks that some people don't get that and we are stuck in our homes doing our part when others aren't.
