Adjustments to sports

As everyone is in the shelter in place, many large scale sports associations are having to find other ways to market their players and league without being able to play their respected sport. One of the most creative ideas I've heard was the NBA creating a 2k tournament. 2k is the video game version of the NBA which includes every player and their real life attributes. After the quarantine it will be interesting if these 2k tournaments continue and have the hype like they do right now. It is interesting following the sports teams on social media because they can only post their old game clips. When the league eventually I wonder how the layout of the teams will affected. Will the teams have enough money to pay their players the full amount?
