OVER the weeks i have seen much change in the world with social distancing.
first i would see lots of tape in stores to show how far people would have to stand away from people. this would temporarily work for the store. everyone seems to go to the self checkout lines for they can cheek out stuff themselves. this is a bad idea i think, because everyone will touch the same device more than once.
playgrounds have also been closed and everywhere i go i see yellow tape. this is a bummer because when i hangout with people we have no place to have fun. things have been more and more annoying with the old people of this area, they always shout stay 6 feet away from everyone down the road. and they all go outside side and go for walks around the area, if they are so worryed about it, why do they go outside and risk health its very strange.
over time stores have been limiting the amount of people in side shops. also lots of areas with big destinations have lots of signs about "if you are more than 5 miles away from home, turn around and go home". stuff like that is everywhere.

I think it is good that playgrounds are closed. On a playground kids touch everything and there is nothing forcing them to keep their distance from each other. Additionally this discourages people from congregating in public places which is the point. I think it is healthy for people to walk outside and I have noticed people crossing the street so that they do not have to pass by people. I think this is smart.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I was a little sad that I could no longer work out at the high school or local elementary schools, I agree with Evelyn. You don't know who has touched what at public places like that. It's better to go on walks or runs by your house because you aren't necessarily touching anything and it is healthy to get some fresh air. I also think that the new tapes and clear window things at Safeway are a good addition. This makes sure that people are being cautious and so that busy places like grocery stores can continue to be open. At first I was annoyed that all these rules were put in place and so strict, but it is in the best interest of the country and our state. I would much rather have it be strict for a couple months and still get to go out for summer.
ReplyDeletepeople are still going out even with this "social distancing"
ReplyDeleteI agree with mikey that people are still going out but for the past few weeks people arent going out as much anymore and now the virus is getting calm and i also heard that if the weather starts getting hot the virus will go away.
